Kalmar DRG100-140 Empty Container Handler
The Kalmar DRG100-140 empty container handler handles all types of containers—including standard ISO, reefers, tanks, special containers, and flat racks—as well as suspended loads up to 14 tonnes. It stacks up to 8 containers high and 3 rows deep. The Kalmar DRG100-140 specifically manages the following container types:
- Standard ISO containers from 20ft to 40ft (handles 45ft – 56ft containers at the 40ft position).
- Standard ISO heights from 4ft to 9ft 6in, or special 10ft 6in heights.
- Reefer containers from 20ft to 40ft (handles 45ft reefers at the 40ft position).
- Tank containers from 20ft to 30ft.
- Flat racks from 20ft to 40ft.
- Suspended loads using 4 lifting hooks.
The Kalmar DRG100-140 adds a new dimension to empty container handling. It transports containers at full width, rotated 45°, or lengthwise, allowing you to drive through low workshop doors, port halls, and other narrow openings. Operators no longer need to lift containers at right angles, which boosts efficiency and handling speed during site stacking, truck loading, and container repairs.
